I completed my undergraduate degrees in elementary education and early childhood education at the University of Wisconsin -La Crosse. I was hired for my first teaching job in a Pre-K classroom, got married, and had my daughter there. In 2002, my husband's job moved us to the opposite side of Wisconsin, and brought us to Grafton where I began teaching Kindergarten. I completed my Masters degree in Special Education and obtained my Reading license at Cardinal Stritch University. Having training in multiple areas of licensure has helped me to provide a comprehensive learning environment for my students.

I am proud to have been part of the development process to bring a 4K program to Grafton. I have been teaching 4K in Grafton since 2014. Teaching 5K for many years has helped to guide the instruction of my 4K students.  It has been an amazing addition to our elementary schools!
I am so fortunate to have been afforded the opportunity to be part of your child's first school experience. Preschool is an exciting time for children and their families!
