Music Email Phone: 262 376-5468 Teaching elementary music has been my life goal (since the age of 7) and I absolutely love my job!
I graduated from St. Norbert College in De Pere, WI with Bachelors of Music degree in 2010. Following graduation I began teaching in a few districts northwest of Green Bay before moving to Port Washington in 2016. Since then I've taught elementary music in Kewaskum and Cedarburg before switching to the Grafton School District in 2023.
In 2020, I completed my Masters of Music in Music Education with a Kodály emphasis at Holy Family College (formerly Silver Lake College) in Manitowoc, WI in 2020. I am certified in the Kodály approach, as well as John Feierabend's First Steps in Music and Conversational Solfege. I am currently working toward completing Orff Levels and completed her Level 1 Orff-Schulwerk training in 2021 at Lakeland University in Plymouth, WI. I have also been a board member of the Association of Wisconsin-Area Kodaly Educators since 2017.
I live in Port Washington with my husband, son, and daughter. I love finding ways to use my creativity by knitting, crocheting, sewing, and painting. I also enjoy biking, hiking, and walking especially near the lake.
