Special Education Email Phone: 262 376-5728 I have lived in Wisconsin my entire life, growing up in Glendale and graduating from Nicolet High School. After high school, I went on to college at UW-Milwaukee and graduated in 1983 with a degree in Special Education. Upon graduation, I was a Special Education paraprofessional for the Ozaukee County Developmental School that was housed at Grafton Elementary School. In the fall of 1984 I began my 1st year as a Special Education teacher at Grafton Elementary School. Working with children with special needs and helping them grow to their fullest potential is something I have always been passionate about. My entire teaching career has been in the Grafton School District. Currently, I am teaching at Kennedy Elementary School. It is an honor and privilege to be working with and alongside a group of teachers and administrators whose hearts are passionate for student learning.
My husband and I reside in Grafton. Both of our children have graduated from Grafton High School. We are very appreciative of the wonderful education that our children have received from their elementary, middle, and high school years that have contributed to the successful adults they are today. My daughter, Danielle is an academic adviser for UW-Madison. My son, Jon is a Project Manager for Advocate Aurora.
In my time away from school, I enjoy time with my family and especially making memories with my 4 granddaughters Zora, Yelena, Jolene and Ada. They make my heart full and bring me much joy. I also enjoy spending time anywhere near water in the summer time, and getting together with friends and family.
