4K and 5K Information

Parents will learn about Grafton's 4K program, see what a typical day in 4K looks like, and learn the benefits of 4K enrollment in the Grafton School District. Following the 15-20 minute presentation at 6:30pm, prospective families will have the opportunity to ask questions, meet 4K staff members and other district personnel, and register for the 4K program.

This event "kicks-off" our two week enrollment window. We hope to see you there!

Friday, January 24th through Friday, February 7th
Weekdays, 7:30am-4:00pm

Grafton School District Office

1900 Washington Street, Grafton WI

Families can continue to enroll for 4K any time after the dates listed above; however, priority for placement site and AM or PM time slot will be given to families who register during the enrollment window.

District students are assigned to either Kennedy or Woodview according to these designated attendance areas. However, our buildings are configured with two 4K classrooms at Kennedy and one classroom at Woodview. For this reason, some students who live within the Woodview attendance area will be assigned to 4K at Kennedy Elementary School. A lottery system will be used for 4K placement of these students. Parents may also state a preference for the morning or afternoon session of 4K. If requests for one session are greater than the space available, student names will be put in a lottery drawing to determine which session they will attend. Please see the 4K Information and FAQs for more information about the lottery.

Any new 5K students for the 2020-21 school year who are not currently enrolled in a Grafton school should enroll beginning Friday, January 24th at the Grafton School District Office. Current 4K students at Kennedy Elementary or Woodview Elementary do not need to re-enroll for 5K. See the tabs below for more information on enrollment.
